More about the next Milkman edition

For those of you who asked, here's the inverted (black on white) version of my imprint:

And, in short, I hate it. It doesn't look like a sun rising behind a planet, it looks like a boob with a sparkly nipple. I can make the lines a bit thicker in the white on black one so it shrinks better. That's easy to do. But as far as black on white ... no, not gonna happen.

Anyhow, moving forward with the new edition of The Milkman (tentatively titled the Supersekrit Extra Cheesy Edition), I'm going to include some extras:

• A bonus chapter from The Milkman 2
• An introduction
• Possibly an extended scene or two
• An interior graphic of the original cover because...

I will need a new cover design for this edition. Because of that I'm putting out a call for submissions. If you are a graphic designer, or you know someone who would be interested, I'd like to see your ideas for a cover of The Milkman. I'll say upfront this is not a paying gig, but you will get your name on the (back) cover as the cover designer, and I will give you five signed copies of the new edition gratis for your trouble. Please email me your concepts in .jpg or .png file formats only (sorry, I cannot accept hard copy media), and put "Milkman cover concept" in the subject line.

I hope I have so many concepts that I can post them here for you all to look at and vote on (although ultimately it will be my decision). So get crackin' and see what kind of nifty-looking cover you can design. And go tell all your struggling artist friends, too.
