Not entirely alone

I'm not the only person who writes superhero fiction; there have been others. One of the most influential series of books on my own writing style was the Wild Cards series edited by George R. R. Martin. I've happened across a couple more recent entries into the field. Austin Grossman wrote a book called Soon I Will Be Invincible, which I've read. Then just earlier this week I learned of Rob C. Rogers' book Devil's Cape, which I will be picking up very soon. I'm sure there are others, and it's good to know I'm not out there all by my lonesome trying to make a go of it in a genre which most agents and editors are still scratching their heads about.

I did find this brilliantly hilarious little video on Rob's blog, and told him I was stealing it to share with you all here, because that's how I roll, yo. For those of you who keep asking me where I get my ideas, the truth is, at last, revealed here. *slurp*

I stumbled across the Wild Cards website a few weeks ago. At first I thought it was a game site.

That was clever, but kinda gross too.

And I say there should be more superhero fiction.

Sherri: Swipe anything you need to - I don't mind.

Travis: Say that a little louder, and to the right people...

Orhan: Hehehe.
