Too Hot To Stop
Too Hot To Stop (Part One) - The Bar-Kays
I've started querying Troubleshooters: The Longest Joke Ever Told in earnest as of this evening. If you're a writer and you've never used querytracker.net, you need to go check it out. I'll never need another spreadsheet again after this. So wish me luck in this big-budget action-movie of a novel. Maybe this one will be my ticket into the exclusive realm of agented writers, which in turn can get me one step closer to that Willy Wonka Golden Ticket of a book deal.
I've been in such a good groove with the editing/rewrites that I've decided to really focus on getting caught up on some of my completed/nearly completed projects before diving into something new. To that end, I'm about halfway through a quick clean'n'polish edit of Mustang Sally before I submit it to a small publisher (Lyrical) Allie suggested to me. As soon as that's done, I'll jump back into The Archmage, which is also about halfway through a rewrite.
Also, I have a cold.

Here I am... wishing you luck :)
Hey, thanks for the link! Useful info.
And best of luck to you.
Like I said before, if you don't get several offers on Troubleshooters, publishing is in trouble.
I agree with Sherri. This is definitely "the one," if you ask me.
Can't wait to see it on the shelves at Barnes & Noble.
I'm excited for you, Ian!
Colds are always fun. All that snot and mucus and... yeah, enjoy.
Oh, and good luck!
I'm with allie and sherrie: publishing would be nuts not to be all over Troubleshooters. Its a good book, dude.
Beautiful Zoey: Well thank you!
Kristen: I figured you'd find it helpful. How's your new project progressing?
Sherri: Um, have you SEEN news about the industry lately? :-/
Allie: If it is, I will definitely blame you in the Thanks section. ;)
PhoenixHearse: Hope so!
Unhinged: Thank you!
J: Yeah. Fortunately Cold-Eze knocked it right out.
Rachel: Thanks so much!
Ian
